The reason that blueberries are so great for smoothies is that they can be frozen, stored nearly indefitely, and then blended right up into whatever concoction strikes your fancy.
This recipe is one of my favorites. I mix it up sometimes by adding a bit of avocado or a scoop of protein powder, but the recipe generally stays the same. It will become one of your go-to recipes as well.
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
This powerful punch of antioxidants will help neutralize the free radicals that are aging your skin.
And don’t be afraid to try the tomato paste. It’s a concentrated source of lycopene, one of the rarest form of antioxidants.
