Breville Juicers Are Among The Lowest Priced But Best Performing Juicers That Money Can Buy
Breville makes a number of juicers under the “Juice Fountain” line. They are among the best performing and lowest priced juicers that you can buy.
My first juicer was a Breville Juice Fountain Compact and I still love it for it’s ease of use and reliability. I found a refurbished model for about $80 and it may have been the best 80 bucks I ever spent. I used it just this morning to make a concoction of celery, cabbage, green apple, and red pepper. It took me about three minutes to clean it out after making my drink, and for a centrifugal juicer it makes very dry pulp.
If you want to juice things like broccoli and kale you’re going to need a masticating juicer instead. It works differently from my first juicer to grind and then slowly press vegetable to squeeze all the juice out of even the driest vegetables.
